Madonna is 'too full of herself' to acknowledge me

Oh, boy.

Boy George has claimed that Madonna is “too full of herself” to ever acknowledge him.

The “Karma Chameleon” hitmaker, 62, has seemingly reignited his feud with the “Material Girl” songstress, 65, as he recalled some encounters he’s had with her in the past.

Writing in his memoir “Karma: My Autobiography,” the Culture Club frontman detailed a specific exchange he had with the Queen of Pop years ago.

“This is where Madonna alleges she met me, and I was bitchy,” he wrote in an excerpt shared with People, adding that Madonna remembers him “head to toe in Westwood,” but he was exclusively wearing Sue Clowes at the time.

To the “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” hitmaker’s recollection, that couldn’t have been him.

He then recalled another encounter he had with Madonna at a New York City club called Palladium.

“Madonna arrived with Sean Penn and pretended she didn’t see me,” he alleged. “Madonna is everything it says on the tin but she adds new ingredients every day.” (Madonna and Penn, 63, married in 1985 and split two years later.)

“I know for a fact she’s too full of herself to even mention me. She once said, ‘Boy George was mean to me in the eighties and he’s still mean.’ To be fair, I haven’t really been given the opportunity.”

Despite this, the singer said he’s still a fan of the “Like a Virgin” singer’s work, but claims she doesn’t have a “sense of humor.”

“Not knowing anything about her I would assume she’d have issue with the word ‘some’… I have a sense of humor, I don’t think Madonna does, despite some of the clothes she wears (LOL).”

Elsewhere, George admitted that he loves “all the drama” and “pop star behavior.”

Despite hailing it as “genius,” George wrote, “But outside of that, you know, it’s how you act. You know, because you want, as I say in the book, you want your artists to be weirdly beautiful and strange and all that, but you also want them to be kind of ordinary.”

Still, he believes there’s hope for a reconciliation in the future for the pair.

“Like Bette and Joan, we should have been friends. There’s still time,” he adds.
