Katy Perry struggles at coronation ahead of concert performance

Katy Perry departs Saturday's coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Her weekend has been “Hot N Cold” so far.

Katy Perry attended the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday — turning heads well before she takes the stage at Sunday’s coronation concert.

The 38-year-old singer — who donned a lavender Vivienne Westwood suit set with a matching large hat — arrived at Westminster Abbey and walked through the pews trying to find her seat for the high-profile event, which also drew British actresses Emma Thompson, Judi Dench, and Maggie Smith.

At one point, she even appeared to ask someone for assistance.

A video of the moment went viral on Twitter, amusing fans.

“This is a new reaction vid if I’ve ever seen one,” one person wrote.

“Even Katy Perry gets lost sometimes, but she always finds her way to the top,” another noted.

“She can’t find it because her hat is in the way. Poor Katy,” someone quipped.

Perry herself even got in on the joke.

“Don’t worry guys I found my seat,” she tweeted after the service.

The chaos didn’t end there.

The “Teenage Dream” songstress nearly fell while leaving the ceremony in the rain.

After snapping a few selfies with fans, Perry tripped and almost took a tumble, but managed to collect herself and nearly save herself from embarrassment.

But she garnered backlash for taking a picture of herself on Westminster Abbey’s memorial to Winston Churchill.

While it’s not forbidden to walk on a memorial or take a picture or a selfie, it’s seen as inappropriate.

Hopefully she can put a “Smile” on for the show.

“I am excited to be performing at the coronation concert and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust’s Children’s Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking,” Perry said in a statement last month.

Perry met Charles, 74, at an event in Mumbai in 2019 before he appointed her an ambassador for the British Asian Trust a year later.

The singer shared that she was “excited” to be staying at Windsor Castle for the festivities.

“They said I was allowed to stay at Windsor Castle which I’m really excited for,” Perry told Extra TV. “I might be posting a lot because I’m gonna be in a castle, for real. This is wild.”

She added that she was “so grateful to get the honor.”

“I’m an ambassador to one of his foundations for the British Asian Trust, which primarily focuses on ending child trafficking, which is a huge issue of our time that people don’t talk enough about, and it just aligned with all my values … He asked me to sing, and it all aligned,” continued Perry.

Other celebrities set to perform include Lionel Richie, British pop group Take That and opera stars Andrea Bocelli and Bryn Terfel.
