In addition to playing FireAid, Jelly Roll is playing a special free concert at the Rose Bowl exclusively for Los Angeles first responders.

Just after playing FireAid on Thursday, January 30, Jelly Roll is sticking around to play a special concert exclusively for Los Angeles wildfire first responders. The free concert will be held at the Rose Bowl on February 1, and is open only to first responders and their friends and family.

This concert differs from FireAid in that it isn’t a fundraiser or benefit concert, but simply a free show for the hardworking folks who have been on the frontline to help their community during the devastating fires.

The show isn’t being widely advertised, but mass emails have been sent to several SoCal fire departments and law enforcement agencies, including the National Guard. First responders have until midnight tonight to request tickets for the free event. They can request up to four tickets for themselves and friends or family via Ticketmaster to watch Jelly Roll (and unspecified “friends” of the artist) perform at the Rose Bowl on February 1. The show starts at 8 PM on Saturday.

The FireAid benefit concert is actually a pair of side-by-side events slated for tonight (Thursday) at the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum. Tickets start at $99, with all proceeds going directly to the event’s designated beneficiaries. The fundraising shows are being broadcast and streamed widely across services, including Apple, DirecTV, Disney+/Hulu, FanDuel, KTLA+, Max, Paramount+/Pluto, Peacock, Prime Video and the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, SoundCloud, TikTok, Veeps, X, and YouTube.

Both shows are being produced by Irving and Shelli Azoff in conjunction with Live Nation and AEG Presents. The Intuit Dome, where the show starts at 7:30 PM, will feature sets from Billie Eilish, Earth Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Sting, and Tate McRae.

Meanwhile, the Kia Forum performances kick off at 6 PM, including sets from Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, John Mayer, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, and The Black Crowes.

Dave Matthews was initially slated to play a set with John Mayer, but has since pulled out due to a “critical” family health matter.
