HAIL THE HORNS, the newly formed trip featuring Tony Campos (bassist of STATIC-X and FEAR FACTORY),Marc Rizzo (guitarist of ILL NIÑO and formerly of SOUFLY),and Opus (drummer of DEAD BY WEDNESDAY),will release a new original single “H.T.H.”, on June 3 via Mindsnap Music, distributed by Von Artists, Ltd. (The Orchard).

Opus states: “‘H.T.H.’, which are simply abbreviations for our self-titled track, is a nod and an ‘ode to’ some of the classic heavy metal songs and bands that we grew up on that influenced us all. Tony, who is singing leads on this track, took some songtitles, words and lines from obvious metal songs and made them work writing them into song complete lyrics. Our idea was to have that same ‘Metal Militia’-type vibe. I believe we accomplished that.”
“H.T.H.” was produced, mixed and mastered by Nicky Bellmore, who has previously worked with TWISTED SISTER singer Dee Snider (and also plays drums for Dee‘s solo band),George” Corpsegrinder” Fisher (CANNIBAL CORPSE),Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED),DEAD BY WEDNESDAY, GENERATION KILL, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, and many more.

SOULFLY parted ways with Rizzo last August due to personal differences. A permanent replacement guitarist has yet to be announced. FEAR FACTORY‘s Dino Cazares played guitar for SOULFLY on the band’s last two U.S. tours.
Rizzo joined SOULFLY in 2004, and has since appeared on all of the band’s subsequent records, including “Prophecy” (2004),“Dark Ages” (2005),“Conquer” (2008),“Omen” (2010),“Enslaved” (2012),“Savages” (2013),“Archangel” (2015) and “Ritual” (2018). In 2007, Rizzo became a member of CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, the side project of SEPULTURA co-founders, brothers Max and Igor Cavalera, and has performed on all CAVALERA CONSPIRACY releases including “Inflikted”, “Blunt Force Trauma”, “Pandemonium” and the critically acclaimed 2017 LP “Psychosis”.
