Fred again.. made waves back in April 2023 with his intimate and goosebump-inducing Tiny Desk concert set, stunning fans with a strikingly vulnerable performance.
The Grammy-nominated producer recently pressed the performance on vinyl and announced a limited run that ultimately sold out in a matter of seconds, he revealed shortly thereafter. But he’s now planning to launch a series of similar releases with ties to various performances, starting with his Tiny Desk masterstroke, which he’s dubbed IRL001.
Fred took to Instagram to share the news, likening the upcoming releases to “diary entries.” That intimate aesthetic has been crucial to his meteoric success.
“Alsoooo this process has inspired me to look at other things we’ve done the last couple years and I wanna start doing more of these releases,” Fred wrote. “If the albums are like diary entries these are like the bonus diary additions of specific moments, and this one is IRL001.”
