Drake Praises Kodak Black and French Montana’s Collab Track “Mopstick”

Nearly six months after the release of his latest album, They Got Amnesia, French Montana has enlisted Kodak Black for the music video in support of their collaborative single, “Mopstick.”

Shortly after French took to Instagram early Wednesday morning to tease the video’s release, Drake hopped into the comment section of Montana’s post to express his love for “Mopstick” and its accompanying visual.

“Nah wtf this is ITTTTTTT,” Champagne Papi wrote.

“Mopstick” is the latest track off They Got Amnesia to receive the music video treatment, following “FWMGAB,” “I Don’t Really Care,” “Panicking” featuring Fivio Foreign, “Bag Season” featuring Lil Tjay, “Handstand” featuring Doja Cat and Saweetie, “Fraud,” and “Push Start” featuring 42 Dugg and Coi Leray.

It’s not the first time that French and Kodak have linked together on a track. The duo previously joined forces on 2016’s platinum-selling single “Lockjaw,” before teaming up later that year alongside DJ Khaled and Jeezy on “Pick These Apart.” Most recently, French tapped Kodak for a guest appearance on “Lifestyle,” a standout cut from the former’s 2019 album Montana.
