Bruce Springsteen fans can now enjoy a concert from the comfort of their homes.
The Bruce Springsteen Live Archive Series has started rolling out on live music streaming service nugs.net, according to Rolling Stone.
The collection spans almost five decades and includes performances from Springsteen’s 1975 “Born to Run” tour” 2005’s “Devils & Dust” tour, 2014’s “High Hopes” tour and more.
The 72-year-old singer’s content was available exclusively for purchase as downloads or CDs. Now, the archives will be available in standard or hi-resolution, 24-bit MQA audio quality formats.
Fans will be able to listen to the collection on iOS and Android devices, Sonos setups, desktop browsers, and all AirPlay and Chromecast devices.
The streaming site has been recording Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band shows since 2014 and will be expanding the series over the next five months with its content.
The expansion will include a 1978 performance at the Roxy, a post-Hurricane Katrina show at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in 2006 and concerts from 2017 in New Zealand.
“When Bruce’s management came to us in 2014, they said Bruce had heard the recordings fans were making and posting on YouTube and knew there was a better way to bring higher quality live recordings direct to fans,” said Brad Serling, nugs.net founder and CEO.
To stream the series, a membership to nugs.net is required. A regular subscription is available for $12.99 per month or $129.99 per year, while a HiFi subscription is $24.99 per month or $249.99 per year. There’s also a seven-day free trial.
At the end of last year, Springsteen reportedly sold the rights to his music catalog to Sony Music for around $500 million.
The “Born to Run” singer has been making surprise guest appearances at concerts, joining Paul McCartney onstage twice: once with Jon Bon Jovi at MetLife and also with Dave Grohl at Glastonbury.
Springsteen also announced a 2023 international tour with the E Street Band, which will kick off in April.
