Beyoncé will perform during the Houston Texans – Baltimore Ravens game live on Netflix on Christmas Day, the NFL has announced.

Beyoncé will deliver the first live performances of her Cowboy Carter album during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game live on Netflix on December 25. The game takes place in Queen Bey’s hometown of Houston, where the Texans will host the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium. Details of the performance are currently limited, but Beyoncé is expected to welcome guests featured on the Cowboy Carter album.

The broadcast will be Netflix’s first NFL Christmas Gameday, with the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 PM ET, followed by the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game at 4:30 PM ET. The games will also air on broadcast TV in the competing team cities, and will be available on US mobile devices with NFL+.

Netflix revealed the news with a promotional photo and video of the Texas superstar in a red, white, and blue leather outfit, keeping in theme with her Cowboy Carter era.

Beyoncé is the most nominated act at the 2025 Grammy Awards, with 11 nominations for her foray into country music and its singles. With nominations for Album of the Year, and Record and Song of the Year, she also has nods in the pop, country, Americana, and rap categories. These nods make her the most-nominated artist of all time at the Grammys.

No stranger to performing at marquee NFL events, Beyoncé headlined the halftime show for Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, where she was joined by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a Destiny’s Child reunion. She was also featured during the halftime show for Super Bowl 50 in the Bay Area, headlined by Coldplay.

With her many previous appearances at NFL events, Beyoncé’s Christmas Day appearance isn’t too much of a stretch, given that her husband Jay-Z is head of music and entertainment programming at the NFL. The slot provides an excellent opportunity for the superstar and her country debut to gain more traction in the public zeitgeist ahead of the 2025 Grammy Awards.
