It’s been over five years since the electronic dance music community lost one of its brightest stars, but fans all around the world have refused to let the legacy of Avicii fade.

Wilf Elliott, an English tattoo artist, has made a name for himself with photorealistic portraits of celebrities. Seeing as he’s a huge fan of Avicii and even has a tattoo of the EDM legend, he created a stunning portrait of the late DJ featuring lyrics from his 2014 hit “The Nights.”

This beautiful piece of art caught the attention of Avicii’s father and the founder of the Tim Bergling Foundation, Klas Bergling, who ultimately commissioned its addition to the Avicii Experience museum. The artist shared a video of his encounter with Klas, who signed the tattoo on his leg.

Elliot was first inspired to create his piece after a visit to the Avicii Experience, which was launched in remembrance of Avicii following his tragic death by suicide. The museum is located in his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden.
