Aminé and Kaytranada have reunited in a major way.
Since first collaborating in 2014, the rapper-and-producer duo has joined forces on a number of tracks, like “La Danse,” “YeYe,” “Not At All,” “Buckwild,” and “Egyptian Luvr” from Rejjie Snow’s 2018 album Dear Annie. As their chemistry grew stronger and stronger over the years, the two have been bombarded with calls for a full-length joint project. And after a nearly decade-long wait, fans finally got their wish.
Aminé and Kaytranada have officially teamed up as KAYTRAMINÉ, a collaborative endeavor that will see the release of a self-titled album next month. The two kick off the new era with the release of the project’s first single, “4Eva,” an infectious dance track featuring Pharrell Williams. They teased the song and its accompanying visual via Instagram this week, giving fans a little taste of what they’ve been cooking.
