AEG and American Express expand their long-running global partnership with a multi-year renewal.

AEG and American Express (Amex) have announced the expansion of their ongoing global partnership. The multiyear renewal designates American Express as the official payment partner for over 40 AEG assets across four continents.

The partnership, which began in 2005, will continue to provide American Express Card Members with access to live events. The latest agreement includes AEG’s venues, festivals, touring, ticketing, and sports properties.

American Express cardholders will enjoy exclusive perks at major festivals and venues, including Coachella, Stagecoach, BST Hyde Park, All Points East, Crypto.com Arena, Dignity Health Sports Park, and The O2. Cardholders will have access to festival perks like exclusive merchandise, offers, and on-site experiences.

Under the American Express Venue Collection program, cardholders can also reap the benefits of certain venues, which can include ticket access, dedicated entrances, and exclusive concession offers. Other venue-specific offers include signature branded lounges like the American Express Lounge at The O2, the Centurion Suite at Crypto.com Arena, and the American Express Stadium Club at Dignity Health Sports Park.

The renewed agreement will also see further integration of American Express integration into AXS, AEG’s global ticketing platform. American Express will also remain a partner of the LA Galaxy (Major League Soccer) and the LA Kings (National Hockey League).

“This is a defining partnership for AEG—one that continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible across live entertainment and fan engagement,” said Todd Goldstein, AEG Chief Revenue Officer. “Across every stage, field, screen, and venue where we partner with Amex, Amex has helped us build a connected, fan-first ecosystem that delivers meaningful value in new and differentiated ways.”

“Amex is more than a partner—they’re a co-architect in how we design the future of live entertainment,” added Russell Silvers, President and COO, AEG Global Partnerships. “From backstage moments to presale innovation, we’re building cultural value at every touchpoint—anchored in our shared mission to deliver unforgettable experiences for fans, artists, and communities around the world.”

This expansion marks the largest annual partnership for AEG and is a key component of American Express’s global music and entertainment platform. The renewed partnership comes on the heels of new partnerships for AEG’s marquee Paris festival We Love Green, including independent media platform Combat and indie band Because.
