A$AP Rocky Reveals Swedish House Mafia Production on New Album, "Don't Be Dumb"

A$AP Rocky and Swedish House Mafia are once again in the collaborative spirit, so says the chart-topping rapper.

Details on his upcoming fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb, are finally coming into focusAfter revealing the record, his first album in five years, during an Amazon Music-hosted live concert in 2022, a new interview has brought to light more information about its production.

When asked about the album’s producers, Rocky didn’t hold back, dropping Swedish House Mafia’s name in the process.

“We got Pharrell Williams, we got Dean Blunt, we got Metro Boomin,” Rocky told Complex of Don’t Be Dumb. “I don’t want to leave people out. We got Hitkidd, we got Tyler, the Creator, myself, Madlib, The Alchemist. We also got Mike Dean, Swedish House Mafia, and I don’t want to give too much away.”

The collaboration is especially notable after the two previously joined forces for the menacing “Frankenstein,” which appeared on 2022’s Paradise Again, Swedish House Mafia’s long-awaited debut album.

No official release date currently exists for Don’t Be Dumb. However, Swedish House Mafia are teasing an album cycle of their own this year, so there’s a surefire chance fans will be hearing more from the iconic Swedish trio in the very near future.
