WITH years of conflict, controversies and celebrations, the roller coaster reality members that make up The Kardashians are a colorful bunch.
So it comes as a surprise to many fans that their personal tastes seem to be so bland.
Take Kim Kardashian for example, whose personal clothing line, SKIMS, and recently launched skin care line, SKKN, share a light neutral aesthetic.
Kim’s SKIMS shapewear line is all neutral skin tones to match the person wearing it.
She took the neutral tones one step farther with her collaboration with Dr Dre’s Beats.
The Beats headphones only come in three colors, and they’re all neutral shades of brown or tan.
The colors – or lack thereof – have been criticized by fans for expanding to the reality star’s personal lives and locales, with many fans shocked to discover just how blah the Kardashian’s homes can be.
Take a look at the “boring” and “bland” Kardashian abodes.
KIM KARDASHIAN
On the few times Kim has opened her doors to fans, the business mogul has been slammed for her lack of flair, with many complaining especially about her white sitting room.
Many have called the space “empty” and “boring.”

Last year, Kim took to Instagram to share a photo of her living room, which consisted of white carpet, three white chairs, a white coffee table, a white painting, an empty white fireplace, and white walls.
The reality star gushed that the space was her “fave room in my house”, though fans were shocked by the “empty” nature of the area.
“It’s so bland,” one wrote, with a sad face emoji, while another put simply: “Boring.”
“I just don’t get it, it’s so empty looking,” another agreed, as a fourth added: “It’s so empty.”
“Looks like an isolation room,” a final added with a bit of humor.
KHLOE KARDASHIAN
While Kim has been ripped for her beige mansion, her sister Khloe has also seen backlash for her similar interior designing taste at her $17M mansion.
Khloe, 38, showed off her completed Hidden Hills mega-mansion next door to her mom Kris Jenner in an episode of The Kardashians.
The whole house had been decked out in neutral tones with pale wood flooring, gray rugs and sleek black windows.
The kitchen featured a marble counter and white chairs, while the living room boasted comfy beige couches arranged around a beige coffee table.
“Her house is so soulless,” one trolled, while a second contributed: “Yeah I agree a little too bland for my taste but I think it looks nice through a modern LA perspective.”
“Someone said they build compounds not houses wasn’t lying,” a third remarked.
“I feel like it must echo a lot,” a fourth noted of the large size and empty atmosphere.
KRIS JENNER
They may be direct neighbors, but Khloe’s mom, Kris, doesn’t seem to share her daughter’s dialed down taste.
In May, the momager opened her door and gave fans a look at her $20M Los Angeles mansion.
“It’s like sensory overload,” Khloe once remarked about the house, which features a modern and elegant open floor-plan kitchen with exposed black shelving.
Rows of what looked to be exclusively crystal could be seen neatly displayed on the shelves as Kris, 66, sipped a martini in a “crystal glass” Khloe noted, as her mom wore a floral gown.
“And dinner China and fabulous sh** everywhere,” Khloe exclaimed – before fans got to see more kitchen.
“You’ve gotta go see the refrigerator,” Kris’ friend remarked to which Khloe responded, “Oh I saw it.”
The three-door black modern appliance included a center section of all glass and all GREEN veggies.
Nearby, a pantry is exclusively dedicated to fine China, with dozens upon dozens of plates of different patterns and sizes neatly organized by design.
KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN
Perhaps Kourtney is the black sheep of the neutral family, as he house reflects her and new rocker husband Travis Barker’s eclectic lifestyle.
The 43-year-old hangs her hat in a $9M Calabasas LA mansion which she bought back in 2014 from retired football player Keyshawn Johnson for $7.45M, and then renovating it.
Her 11,500-square-foot Tuscan-style home features a massive lounge-style main bathroom that features a two-person freestanding lily-white tub.
The walls include floor-to-ceiling windows with dark frames and second-floor hallway balconies.
She also has a built-in wood bar with all the fixings, including bottles of Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila.
Floor-to-ceiling windows offer serene views to the lush backyard outside.
She once shared the home with ex Scott Disick, with whom she also shares kids Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, seven.
