Last month, Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s 23-year-old single, “Murder on the Dancefloor,” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100. To celebrate, the UK pop artist will embark on her first-ever headlining tour of North America this year.
Kicking off after the conclusion of a European tour, Ellis-Bextor’s North American dates will begin in San Francisco on May 30th, after which she’ll head to cities like Washington DC, Boston, and New York. On June 8th, she’ll wrap the run with a show in Toronto, followed by more European dates through the end of the year. Check out the full list of her upcoming dates below.

“Murder on the Dancefloor” was originally released in December 2001, but has become a massive hit in 2024 thanks to its inclusion in Emerald Fennell’s film, Saltburn. In just the past two months, it’s accrued over 140 million streams, and earned Ellis-Bextor her US late night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. This past weekend, she performed the song at the 2024 BAFTA Awards.
Recently, Ellis-Bextor also announced the arrival of “Murder on the Dancefloor” on 7-inch vinyl, including a limited-edition colored option. Orders are ongoing.
