Rocker Andrew W.K. Marries Two Broke Girls Star Kat Dennings

“Party Hard” rocker Andrew W.K. and Two Broke Girls star Kat Dennings tied the knot on November 27th in an intimate ceremony. The pair just revealed details of their wedding, along with photos, in an exclusive spread with Vogue.

Apparently, it was love at first site for the musician and the actress, with Dennings telling Vogue, “About three years ago, Andrew had come to visit me for the first time. At the end of his trip, we couldn’t imagine ever separating. We actually proposed to each other in the kitchen at the exact same moment.” They ended up getting engaged in the spring of 2021.

The wedding itself took place in the garden of the couple’s Los Angeles home, with roughly 15 people in attendance, including Macaulay Culkin and wife Brenda Song. “Everyone was happy and enjoying [themselves] and there wasn’t a dull moment,” said Dennings of the nuptials.

Dennings, who has also starred as Darcy Lewis in a number of Marvel Cinematic Universe features, and W.K. planned the entire wedding themselves. The bride wore a deep ivory dress from Alexander McQueen, along with Jimmy Choo shoes, while the groom donned a Brioni suit in dark aubergine with violet piping.

The wedding was bittersweet in that it took place shortly after the death of Dennings’ father. “My dad had passed away a month and a half before, and I had a moment where I thought we should delay the wedding — but I realized it was even more of a reason to grasp any joyous feeling where I could,” explained the actress. “My wonderful mom walked me down the aisle, and I felt very present and filled with gratitude for Andrew and our loved ones during the ceremony. I felt truly lucky to be marrying such a kind and loving man.”

In September of 2021, W.K. abruptly postponed all of his tour dates right as he released his latest album, God Is Partying. He hasn’t played a show since, mostly staying out of the spotlight for the past two years. Around that same time, he also took down all of his social media accounts.

Dennings, however, maintained her social media accounts, and has even shared photos from the wedding on Instagram, as seen in the various posts below.
