Pavement announce four shows in Brooklyn in September

Time to go back to those Gold Soundz. Only this time, Stephen Malkmus and the gang insist you don’t keep the address to yourself.

The perennially cool 90’s alt-rockers Pavement have been embarking on a series of comeback shows over the last year, their first since the band’s first-ever reunion shows way back in 2010.

If you happened to miss Pavement during their last Brooklyn mini-residency at King’s Theater in October 2022, get ready to jam out slap on a t-shirt, Cut Your Hair, and head on down to Brooklyn Steel this September.

Yesterday, the “Range Life” indie-rockers announced a string of four dates at Williamsburg’s warehouse turned ultra-cool concert venue, running each night from Sep. 11 to Sep. 14.

No need to tamper your expectations. Harness Your Hopes to a pair of tickets for Pavement’s continuing reunion tour this fall in Brooklyn.

Whether you’re a big fan of the early stuff, or a defender of their final, misunderstood Nigel Godrich-produced 1999 effort “Terror Twilight,” you’re sure to find something to like about the slack rocker’s Brooklyn dates. If their setlists from earlier in the tour are any indication, Malkmus, Spiral Stairs, and the crew play a wide-ranging set of tunes, from their biggest tunes to B-sides.

Want to find out which night in September makes the most sense for you to head to Brooklyn to hear “Berlin is Stained”?
