In 2015, Rihanna famously warned us, “Bitch Better Have My Money.”
But now that Ri-Ri is a mommy of two, it’s more like “Babies Better Have My Forehead.”
While you might think that the “Umbrella” singer would be more interested in passing on all those musical genes from her and rapper partner A$AP Rocky to their two sons — RZA, 19 months, and Riot, 4 months — she’s most concerned about carrying on her forehead in the family.
“The only thing I imagined was probably the forehead on RZA,” Rihanna, 35, told “Access Hollywood” when asked about her visions of motherhood at the Los Angeles relaunch of her Fenty x Puma Creeper sneaker line on Monday night.
“Riot doesn’t have it. I’m like, ‘Wait, are you sure?’”
she added with a laugh. “You can’t lose this thing!”
But Mama Rihanna says she had no clue how family life would be like before giving birth to RZA in May 2022.
“You don’t have an idea,” said the fashion and beauty mogul, who revealed that she was expecting her second child during her Super Bowl halftime performance in February.
She said, “I hoped that I can have kids one day … And I hoped that I can be a part of a family that, you know, breaks generational curses and just, like, moves forward and does new things and raises our kids better than we’ve been raised. All the beautiful things.
“And it’s happening,” she continued. “And I can’t believe it.”
Rihanna also gave parental props to how A$AP Rocky, 35, has done since he became a father.
“I loved him differently after that,” she said of the “F – – kin’ Problems” rapper, who will stand trial for allegedly shooting at a former friend outside of a Hollywood hotel in November 2021. (He has pleaded not guilty.)
“This is major, major. Like, it’s a turn-on. It’s just, like, wow. What a leader. What a great, patient, loving [father].
She concluded: “And my kids are obsessed with him. I’m just a background [person]. Like, I’m an extra.”
