The London Video Game Orchestra will perform at Cadogan Hall as part of the London Games Festival’s side events program. The program encourages community-organized pop-up and cultural events running at various sites throughout the city. The London Games Festival takes place from April 2 – April 13—with 2025 marking the event’s 10th anniversary.
This special concert will feature a mix of fan favorite tracks from across the world of video games, with added vocals from the Hesperos Choir and Joe Davies conducting. The London Video Game Orchestra is a volunteer-run ensemble founded in 2019 and its musicians proudly perform live music from video games in venues across London. For casual gamers to die-hard fans, anyone who enjoys the beauty of video game soundtracks will be right at home at this performance.
The world of video games is keeping classical music alive in the hearts of video game fans across the world. Nintendo is responsible for helping to facilitate interest in video game orchestras with the The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses orchestra tour. That tour ran from 2012 to 2017 and celebrated music from several The Legend of Zelda games, traveling to more than 150 cities to perform beloved video game tracks live. The LVGO will also pay homage to LoZ’s music by performing music from Ocarina of Time.
