FIRED ABC meteorologist Rob Marciano has been seen in a rare outing checking out a sprawling $1 million New York home after scoring a new job on CBS News.
Rob, 56, was seen house hunting with his real estate agent ex-wife, Eryn, in New York’s Westchester County on October 2.
In exclusive photos obtained by The U.S. Sun, Rob could be seen walking to and from his car to check out a sprawling home in the New York suburb.
Rob dressed casually for the outing in a polo shirt and blue jeans with a baseball cap.
Rob and Eryn appear to be on good terms, as they co-parent their two children Madelynn, 12, and Mason, 6.
MOVING ON
The home Rob was checking out is listed at $1,199,000, and features four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The real estate listing reads, “The first floor features a spacious open floor plan, including a large family room, an elegant living room with an original wood-burning fireplace, a dining area, and an updated kitchen that opens onto a private patio surrounded by mature landscaping.
“Also on the main level is a generously sized bedroom with a large closet, as well as a fully renovated hall bathroom, an ideal setup for guests or as a main-floor retreat.
“Upstairs, the primary suite offers ample storage, an ensuite new bathroom, and two additional bedrooms with a revamped hall bath, plus a convenient laundry closet.”
The U.S. Sun previously reported Rob is living in a 2,000-square-foot apartment that has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
In real estate photos viewed by The U.S. Sun, the kitchen boasts white cabinets with silver hardware, a mosaic backsplash, gray countertops, and stainless steel appliances.
There is gray wood flooring throughout the kitchen, as well as the family and dining rooms.
Rob began renting the apartment in November 2021 for $3,250 a month.
ROB’S DIVORCE
Eryn filed for divorce from Rob on June 18, 2021 after 11 years of marriage.
They finalized their divorce on January 5, 2023.
The divorce also handled custody, as a lawyer was appointed for their children in January 2022, according to the online docket.
WORK ALLEGATIONS
House hunting comes as Rob snagged a new job at CBS News after his firing from ABC in April 2024.
His exit reportedly had to do with “anger management issues,” according to The New York Post.
Before the firing, Rob had reportedly been temporarily banned from the ABC studios, as he instead reported from various locations.
Multiple sources told PageSix he was banned from ABC Studios after he “made a female colleague feel uncomfortable.”
Good Morning America anchors
Good Morning America airs on ABC from 7-9am EST, Monday through Friday. The show has a panel of anchors who discuss the week’s events and current news. The anchors who appear on the morning show include:
One insider claimed before the firing: “He was found to have done something… that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return.”
A second source told the outlet: “He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events.”
The sources didn’t name the colleague or expand on what had happened between the two.
However, a second source did say that he had behavioral problems while going through his divorce from Eryn.
“There were times when [Rob] was very cranky and angry… unsavory behavior on his part,” a source said.
Rob has not responded to the allegations.
