MATT LeBlanc looked very different from his days as Friends heartthrob Joey Tribbiani when he made a rare public appearance in Los Angeles.
The actor, 57, cut a casual figure in a cap, black T-shirt and jeans as he browsed a car showroom outside the city
A keen petrol head, LeBlanc hosted BBC show Top Gear for four years and seemed to be relishing looking at motors on the forecourt.
The US star took off his cap at one point and his silver hair caught the sunlight.
LeBlanc has rarely been seen in public following the death of his Friends co-star Matthew Perry last year.
The Chandler Bing actor was found unresponsive in his LA home’s hot tub. His death was ruled an accident.
However, a medical examiner revealed contributing factors included “drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine”, an opioid-like drug used in the treatment of opioid addiction as well as acute and chronic pain.
Matthew had undergone ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety a week-and-a-half before his death, according to the report.
Following the tragedy, LeBlanc shared a moving tribute to his friend.
“It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye,” he wrote on social media.
“The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life.
“It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.
“I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never.
“Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love.”
The statement finished with a touch of brevity, further demonstrating their friendship.
“And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.”
LeBlanc, who hasn’t appeared on screen since the Friends reunion in 2021, appears to be single after spitting from Aurora Mulligan in 2022.
His Friends character Joey was famed for his goofy charm that left ladies falling at his feet.
And inreal life LeBlanc has had his fair share of beauties from Andrea Anders to Kate Hudson and Teri Copley.
Though he hasn’t been spotted with a partner since he and Mulligan parted ways.
The actor remains in the spotlight because of his association with Friends and its enduring appeal.
He previously said fans stop him in the street now and ask if he’s Joey’s dad.
