Get tickets to the concerts NY Post writers want to see in 2024

Writers don’t just sit at their desks pounding out stories day in and day out.

When they’re not sweating over deadlines, NY Post staffers pack in their laptops and blow off steam by moshing, jamming or blissing out at live shows.

And, after asking around, we found that the team surprisingly does not have a lot of overlap when it comes to their favorite artists.

In fact, each person in the department had a different most-anticipated live show — spanning the pop, country, rock, folk and indie genres — in these next few months.

For a peek at what where we’ll be later this year, the New York Post humbly presents the concerts we’re most looking forward to in 2024.

And yes, we hope to see you in the pit, stands and nosebleeds, fellow music fans.

I can’t wait for Taylor Swift to bring her ‘Eras Tour’ to Miami in October; I saw her in Philadelphia last year, and she truly puts on a show like none other. The bad news? I have yet to secure tickets for any of her three stops in South Florida. The good news? My parents live in Miami — meaning that even if I have to bust my budget to acquire said tickets, I’ll save on accommodations by crashing with them for free. (Although my mom keeps joking that she’ll only waive her usual hotel fee if I’m able to snag her a ticket, too!) -Elana Fishman

As a new dad, my days off are few and far between. So, once I heard that the Stones were going on tour in support of their rockin’ new album later this year, the first thing I did was tell my wife “we’re getting a babysitter in May, babe. Mick and Keith are coming to town.” Since the announcement, I dove deep into the band’s treasured catalog far past the hits we all know and love (“Gimme Shelter,” “Miss You” and “Beast of Burden” are all-timers) into deep cut classics like “I Am Waiting,” “Torn and Frayed” and “Prodigal Son” that likely won’t make a show set list. I don’t mind. It’s like I get to discover the band all over again before seeing them live. -Matt Levy

While his upcoming tour is called ‘We’ll All Be Here Forever,’ I missed out on seeing Kahan live back in 2023, and I’m hoping I don’t make that mistake again in ’24. The “Dial Drunk” singer from Vermont is making his rounds again this year, with a few stops in NYC in addition to other North American locales come summer. After his “Saturday Night Live” debut made waves, his 2024 rounds are not to be missed. -Sophie Cannon

If there’s any voice I am waiting to listen to live this year, it’s Zach Bryan’s on his ‘Quittin Time’ tour. The Navy Veteran from Oklahoma turned into an overnight sensation when his shaky, homemade music video “Heading South” went viral on Youtube and Twitter. Since then, the pandemic-born country star has pushed the boundaries of his genre with his small town appeal, raspy folksy voice, and brilliantly raw lyrics in hits like “Oklahoma Smokeshow,” “Something in the Orange,” and “Tourniquet.” I’ll be singing along in the stands, Zach. -Miska Salemann

Definitely looking forward to seeing Foo Fighters at Citi Field this summer. The last time I saw them was when Dave Grohl was on his ‘Broken Leg; tour. Nothing quite like summer outdoor concerts! And I’m sure they will honor Taylor in one way or another. -Ryan Murphy

I’ve been a casual Fall Out Boy fan for a while now, but haven’t been able to catch them on tour yet, so I’m excited to finally see them with Jimmy Eat World at MSG during the ‘So Much For (2our) Dust’ tour this spring. I’ve heard that the setlist changes from show to show, and there’s an interactive song element that’s sure to be a fun surprise. Overall, though, I can’t wait to (hopefully) hear some of my fave songs live for the first time! -Angela Tricarico

It’s funny, huh. Mitski’s music tends to be a real bummer. But I’d be overjoyed to snag a ticket to one of her seven sold-out shows in New York this February (including four nights at Manhattan’s Beacon Theater, and three at Kings Theater in Brooklyn). I guess that’s irony. Like missing a ticket to getting splashed by a passing bus speeding through a flooded street on a rainy day. -P.J. McCormick

I saw Tate McRae during her debut tour in 2023 and in the few months since then she has become a household name. Anyone who is anyone knows that Tate has entered the chat as the 2024 pop star to watch. I am stoked to see her perform her new album “Think Later” on her first international tour in 2024! -Julia Remillard

The upcoming Dan + Shay concert certainly grabbed my attention, especially when it was announced beloved, feel-good artist Ben Rector was opening for the country duo at the Prudential Center this coming April. If you haven’t listened to their new album — you should — especially “Neon Cowgirl” and “What Took You So Long” which are two of my most-listened to tracks as of late. -Victoria Giardina

Those aren’t the only artists on tour this year, though.

Here are five more we can’t wait to see live this winter, spring and summer.

• Drake with J. Cole

• The Eagles

• Green Day with Smashing Pumpkins

• Olivia Rodrigo

• George Strait with Chris Stapleton
