Mel B, famously known as “Scary Spice,” is teasing exciting news about a musical comeback from the iconic ’90s girl group, Spice Girls.
The iconic pop culture sensations reportedly have more in store, including an eagerly awaited stamp release, to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
Mel B Fuels Spice Girls Reunion Rumors With Exciting Announcement
The 48-year-old shared insights into the future of the iconic pop group during an interview, promising imminent “good news” that involved all five Spice Girls. When asked about the possibility of a Spice Girls reunion, Mel B did not shy away from stoking the excitement.
The “Wannabe” artist built anticipation as she revealed, “Well, I’ve been saying this forever, but now we’re actually going to be releasing some really good news in about a few weeks that involves all five of us.”
Mel B described the impending revelation as “the gift that keeps on giving” and assured fans they would be “100 percent satisfied” with the upcoming announcement. The “America’s Got Talent” judge did this while playfully acknowledging that she might get into trouble for sharing the tantalizing details.
However, she noted that managing a reunion came with its challenges, acknowledging the complexity of coordinating the schedules of all five Spice Girls. “There’s five of us and we’ve got five different diaries, and we’re all parents,” she explained to PEOPLE Magazine.
As fans eagerly await the exciting news, they can find solace in the anticipation that Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, will contribute to the Spice Girls narrative. Back in September, Mel B revealed that her former bandmate would be the creative mind behind her wedding dress.
During a conversation with 2Day FM’s Dave Hughes, Ed Kavalee, and Erin Molan, the actress’ excitement was palpable as she shared her plans for the special day. “Once I get the date, I will go wedding dress shopping. Victoria Beckham wants to make me a dress,” she joyfully declared.
The singer also shared the dream location for her wedding and disclosed her aspirations to tie the knot at the same place where Princess Diana married King Charles.
In her own words, “Because I have an MBE, I can get married at the same place Princess Diana married Charles. I’m still waiting to hear back from St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. We have put all our forms in, and we are just waiting on them to give us the day.”
The mother-of-three’s enthusiasm could also be felt when she expressed gratitude for the solace and confidence she found in her husband-to-be Rory McPhee after allegedly enduring years of abuse in her previous marriage to Stephen Belafonte.
