General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that another familiar face is set to make the journey from Bensonhurst to Port Charles. Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is already in town for a visit, but now it’s her mother who’ll be making a PC comeback.
SOD confirms that Ellen Travolta will be reprising her GH role as Gloria Cerullo, so this character from the mid-90s will make an exciting return and shake things up.
Of course, you might recognize Ellen’s last name since she’s got a famous brother who shares it. Ellen is John Travolta’s sister and actually had a role in Grease with him.
You might’ve caught Ellen on Welcome Back, Kotter as well, which starred John Travolta and Vernee Watson (Stella Henry).
However, Ellen Travolta has made quite a name for herself through her work on Happy Days, Joanie Loves Chachi, Charles in Charge and many other familiar TV favorites over the years.
As for Gloria’s PC return, she’ll pop back up for a guest stint later this month. Gloria will resurface right around Thanksgiving, so she may crash the Quartermaine party and shock Lois along with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Naturally, this could bring an opportunity for some clashing between Gloria and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), too.
Gloria certainly won’t be shy about speaking her mind and standing up for Lois along with Brook Lynn if need be!
Thanksgiving can be a pretty chaotic time at the Quartermaine mansion, so perhaps Gloria will get caught up in all the drama and play a role in the ruined meal this year.
It wouldn’t be a proper Quartermaine Thanksgiving without pizza, so stay tuned for updates on Gloria’s return and how that might affect the looming holiday feast.
