Beauty School have dropped their latest single ‘When I’m Feeling Down’.
The new track is an ode to the liminal quiet periods in life, written by the band’s guitarist Dan Shaw, who explains:
“I was between jobs, the band was quiet and we wanted to sell our house.”
The result is a poignant, reflective tune that celebrates the moments in-between milestones – have a listen to the track via its official video below.
Discussing the sonic inspirations, drummer Charlie Thomas has added:
“I took a lot from 90s American radio rock, drawing from the likes of Third Eye Blind, into the drum parts.”
