Bad Bunny Releases His New Music Video for “Neverita”

Fresh off spending an eighth nonconsecutive week atop the Billboard 200 chart with his latest album Un Verano Sin Ti, Bad Bunny returns with a new music video for one of the project’s standout tracks, “Neverita.”

As noted by Pitchfork, the Stillz-directed visual sees the Puerto Rican star pay tribute to merengue legend Elvis Crespo, with the ’90s-inspired video influenced by the singer’s music video for his 1998 hit “Suavemente.”

The “Neverita” video ends with text that reads, “In honor of the best video of all time.”

Released in May, Un Verano Sin Ti is Bad Bunny’s second No. 1 album following 2020’s El Último Tour Del Mundo. His first two LPs, 2018’s X 100pre and 2020’s YHLQMDLG, peaked at No. 11 and No. 2, respectively.

In July, Bad Bunny broke his own all-time record for biggest streaming year for any artist in Spotify history with over 10.3 billion streams, which prompted a congratulatory note from Drake.

“My guy is moving different,” Drizzy wrote alongside a photo of Bad Bunny on his Instagram Stories.
