JULIA Stiles impressed her fans after the 90s star went makeup-free for a recent red carpet appearance.
Julia, now 43, is best known for her turn as angsty teenage Kat Stratford opposite Heath Ledger’s Patrick Verona in 10 Things I Hate About You, which was released 25 years ago.
The actress and filmmaker is awaiting the release of her directorial debut Wish You Were Here, a romantic drama starring Isabelle Fuhrman and Mena Massoud in the lead roles.
Julia, who shares three children with husband Preston Cook, recently stepped out for the New York premiere of COUP!, a new thriller-comedy starring Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Magnussen, and Sarah Gadon.
She paired a mauve crew neck T-shirt with a colorful midi skirt for the event, completing her look with a pair of bright blue pointed heels.
The Bourne Identity star was all smiles as she struck a pose on the red carpet, with fans gushing over her youthful appearance in comments on a pop culture Reddit forum.

One person wrote, “Wow, she looks fantastic!”
“She looks so fresh and beautiful!” another fan comment read.
A third Redditor said, “She hasn’t aged a day. I wish she would come back. Kudos to her for doing her thing and enjoying life privately though. Hope she’s as happy as she looks.”
Others praised her past performances, including as rape survivor Lumen Pierce on serial killer drama Dexter, while expressing their desire to see Julia return to the big screen.
One comment read, “She’s still soo gorgeous and now I want her and Bridgit Mendler (Alice Upside Down) to play sisters in something.”
Another person said, “Now I want her to come back to acting so we can see her and Rosamund Pike cast as sisters in some wild movie. She looks amazing.”
Julia recently reflected on her role in 10 Things I Hate About You that catapulted her and Heath, who died in 2008, to superstardom, in an interview with The New York Times earlier this year.
“As a performer, to be in something that people are talking about 25 years later is very special and very meaningful,” she acknowledged.
Stiles also admitted she “rebelled against” all the attention 10 Things brought her by “running in the other direction a little bit.”
A Columbia University alum, she continued, “I went to college so that I could focus on other things. I would take time off from work … to not give it as much power.”
Julia, who met Preston while working on the set of her 2014 film Blackway, also said she was a “bundle of emotions” directing her first movie as she welcomed her third child.
10 STEPS AHEAD
She added that being a mother was “great training” for filmmaking, explaining, “You have to think 10 steps ahead but also be in the present moment. You have to be good at time management.
“You have to be sensitive to people’s needs and guide them, but also hold a boundary,” Julia continued.
Julia’s directorial debut is based on Renée Carlino’s bestselling book Wish You Were Here.
It follows down-in-luck waitress Charlotte as she embarks on a life-altering romance with a man she believes ghosted her, only to discover he is terminally ill.
She married Preston, who works as a cameraman, in an intimate ceremony on Labor Day in 2017.
Julia was pregnant with her oldest son Strummer, now six, and confirmed her marriage to Preston in a sweet Instagram post at the time, writing, “Who doesn’t love a shotgun wedding?”
The couple also share two-year-old son Arlo.
