Where to buy tickets, schedule

Although the 21st night of September has passed this year, Earth, Wind and Fire will keep boogie-ing on in late 2022 and early 2023.

From Dec. 10 through May 6, the legendary R&B group that brought the world mega-hits like “Let’s Groove,” “Shining Star,” “Fantasy,” and so many more will play eight shows all over North America.

That includes two huge shows at Atlantic City’s Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31.

And if this electric concert footage from a recent gig in Mexico City is any indication, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees haven’t lost a step since their ’70s and ’80s heyday.

So, if you want to enter a “Boogie Wonderland” and get down with the long-running group, here’s everything you need to know.

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure, and your tickets will be delivered before the event.

Okeechobee Music Festival

On March 2-5, Earth, Wind and Fire will drop into Okeechobee, Florida’s Sunshine Grove, to headline the annual Okeechobee Music Festival.

They’ll be joined by EDM superstar Odesza, Grammy-winning rapper Baby Keem, hip-hop icon Big Boi, indie mainstays Local Natives, reggae royalty Dirty Heads and many more.

Tickets for the four-day extravaganza can still be scooped up here.

Earth, Wind and Fire new music

In 2021, Verdine White and co. turned heads with their chart-topping single “You Want My Love” with Lucky Daye.

The track reached Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart top 10 for the first time in 28 years.

Their simple, no-frills video for the catchy three-minute bop can be seen below.

R&B groups on tour in 2023

Just because you might not get to see Earth, Wind and Fire in 2022-23 since they’re playing so few gigs doesn’t mean some truly great R&B acts won’t be coming to a city near you.

Here are just five of our favorite R&B acts you won’t want to miss live in 2023.

• Lizzo
