It’s unlikely they’ll be traveling by train, speedwagon or yacht.
In any event, Train, REO Speedwagon and Yacht Rock Revue have announced they’re teaming up to travel all over North America this summer as part of their huge 43-concert ‘Summer Road Trip Tour.’
“This tour won’t just be a great time with great people, but a tour that will have a ton of familiar songs to most generations,” Train lead singer Pat Monahan shared. “I will be wishing I was in the audience as much as I’ll love being on the stage.”
Along the way, the transportation-minded co-headliners will make a handful of stops in New York and New Jersey.
First up, they’ll make a pit stop at Lewiston, NY’s Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater on Friday, July 19.
After that, the trio is slated to perform in Saratoga Springs on July 23, Bethel on July 24, Camden, NJ on July 26, Long Island’s Jones Beach Theater on July 27 and Syracuse on July 31.
Finally, they’ll chug into Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Thursday, Aug. 1.
And if you can’t wait to hear “Can’t Fight This Feeling” and “Hey, Soul Sister” this summer, you can pick up tickets to hear the legendary groups live as soon as today.
Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, Feb. 2, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Who is Yacht Rock Revue?
The soft rockin’ group formed in Atlanta in 2007 and is made up of members from Y-O-U, which disbanded in the mid-aughts.
Their origin story is a unique one; Peter Olson, Nicholas Niespodziani, Mark Cobb, Greg Lee, Mark Bencuya, Mark Dannells, and David Freeman ironically performed soft rock covers at a local club and that turned into a weekly residency.
At live shows, expect to hear thier renditions of crowd-pleasing classics by iconic acts like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Toto, ABBA, James Taylor, Steely Dan and many more ’70s and ’80s heroes.
