WE Are Family has unveiled three new celebrity relatives.
Pop icon Debbie Gibson, comedian Tiffany Haddish, and singer Tamar Braxton were revealed as the famous family members of three performers on the latest episode of Fox’s new guessing game.
Tiffany was the first to be unveiled after her aunt, Mary, sang and gave clues about her famous niece, but host Anthony Anderson and his mom Doris were stunned when an audience member shared her guess for the mystery celebrity ahead of Tiffany’s reveal.
Out of the studio audience of 100 contestants trying to guess correctly in order to win up to $150,000, one player told the host and his mom that she thought that legendary singer Donna Summer was Mary’s celebrity relative – but Donna Summer died in 2012.
“No, don’t clap,” Doris scolded the audience as they applauded the wrong answer before her son stepped in.
“The late great Donna Summer,” Anthony corrected the contestant before adding, “You do know how to play this game right? The person you name has to be able to come out of the sphere right now.”
We Are Family returns next Wednesday at 9 pm ET on Fox or you can stream the episode on Fubo.
