General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that another former cast member has passed away. Robyn Benard played Terry Brock from 1984-1990, so she had quite the run back in the ‘80s. Now fans are mourning the loss since Benard is dead at the age of 64.
On March 12, Benard’s body was found in a field behind a business in San Jacinto, California.
The details of Benard’s demise remain a bit of a mystery, but TMZ reports that she was identified using her fingerprints.
No official cause of death is known yet, but Benard’s autopsy and toxicology results should reveal more eventually.
This is certainly a tragic situation, so fans will be waiting for updates on this grim news and all the investigation info.
However, Robyn Benard will always be remembered for playing the feisty Terry Brock in a whopping 145 episodes.
It’s clear that Benard made her mark on the show and will forever be part of the GH family.
Terry was the daughter of Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) abusive first husband – and she was a talented, hopeful singer once upon a time. A record deal is what took Terry off canvas for her exit back in 1990.
Benard also had roles in Simon & Simon, Whiz Kids, The Facts of Life, Betty Blue, Tour of Duty and more.
The last part Benard was credited for was one playing a psychologist in Voices from the High School back in 2002.
Although Benard had clearly stepped out of the limelight toward the end of her life, her legacy will live on.
It’s always tough to hear about a loss like this, so our hearts go out to those Benard leaves behind.
Benard is survived by her father, Jerry Wayne Benard, along with two sisters, Crystal and Scarlett.
