An EIGHTIES slasher movie star appeared to be aging backwards 40 years after experiencing Hollywood fame.
60-year-old Betsy Russell shot to fame in schlocky horror flicks like Cheerleader Camp and raunchy teen comedies like Private School, before making a comeback in 2010’s Saw III.
Betsy looks like she hasn’t aged a day since her thrilling performances in the retro films she starred in.
In the 1980s, Betsy Russell starred in movies like Tomboy, Angel, and Out Of Control.
On her recent Instagram selfie, one fan commented: “Betsy, you’re a timeless beauty!”
Whilst another added: “You literally don’t age. What’s your secret?”
A third penned: “You look just like you did when your boy’s were really small . Beautiful!”
And a fourth added: “You have always been and remain so beautiful.”
Betsy Russell’s most notable slasher movie role was as Jill Tuck in the Saw film series.
The character Jill, that Betsy played, was involved in her husband’s twisted games and later became a crucial player in the traps and moral dilemmas set by the Jigsaw killer.
The star also played the role Sergeant Hamill in Chain Letter which was released in 2010, and Sheriff Willborn’s Wife in Camp Fear which was released in 1991.
These days, Betsy still acts but she also has another job away from the world of fame.
Her instagram bio reveals she is also a certified life coach.
Her website promises “healing from the inside out” and she claims to help clients create “the life of your dreams”.
