An interview that Conor McGregor did while promoting his new movie Road House has sparked some concern about his well-being.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the usually finely-dressed former UFC star is seen wearing a white graphic t-shirt and a newsboy cap.
McGregor’s outfit isn’t what’s causing concern, however, but rather, his behavior, as he appears extremely twitchy and far more subdued than the persona he’s popularized over recent years.
A tweet sharing a clip from the interview with the caption “Conor McGregor is literally involuntarily spasming in his latest interview,” has racked up over 3 million views.

To be fair to McGregor, his behavior in the interview could also be the result of a long and grueling press tour that’s seen him and Road House co-star Jake Gyllenhaal flown all over the world, doing dozens if not hundreds of interviews along the way.
This isn’t the first time that McGregor’s behavior on the press tour has sparked concerns, as his energy at the film’s premiere also raised some questions about his health and habits.
Alongside Gyllenhaal and McGregor, Road House also stars Daniela Melchior, Jessica Williams, J. D. Pardo, Arturo Castro, Billy Magnussen, Lukas Gage, and Post Malone.
“In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.”
Road House, which currently has a 64% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, is now streaming on Prime Video. Check out the official trailer below.
