'80s Icon Paulina Porizkova Looks 20 Years Younger in Swimsuit Vacation Pics

Paulina Porizkova is looking forever young – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the 1980s supermodel shows off her fit-at-58 figure in a blue bathing suit. “Here come the vacation pics. The vacation itself was glorious and sometimes bittersweet- I took my love, Jeff , to the island in the Caribbean which I first discovered on a work trip when I was 16, in 1981. I got married there in 1989, and have been going back with my husband, his kids, then our kids, every year until 8 years ago. This is the first time back since. So many memories. And now, @sjeffgreenstein and I have added new ones. (And had fun doing pin-up photos.) Much has changed . Both for the island and me. But the essence is the same. In both of us, I hope,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Beautiful strong and vulnerable ❤️🔥❤️ all at the same time,” commented her supermodel pal Helena Christensen. “It is one thing to do a pinup at sixteen but to do one in your late fifties is next level and absolutely fabulous 🙌🏻 but let’s face it you are always in the next solar system,” added another follower. How does the model keep herself looking young and fit? Celebwell has the details on her health habits.

After post-menopause weight gain, Paulina started  exercising more, which was “great for my emotional state … [but] it made me be more hungry,” she explained to People. She discovered intermittent fasting, which is “all about balance,” she said. “I don’t eat very much, but when I eat, I eat the stuff I want to eat,” she said. “Sometimes they’re very healthy, and sometimes they aren’t, because they make me happy.”

Paulina sticks to healthy food. “I live reasonably clean- don’t much enjoy processed foods, but love a variety and do love my cakes,” Paulina wrote in a recent Instagram post

“I started exercising when I was 40. I never did anything before that. Just cigarettes and poor nutrition. I could eat whatever I wanted because I smoked. Cindy [Crawford] would be there sweating and working out, and she had a fabulous body that she worked for and I was just like, ‘Oh, that’s stupid.’ I had a good time being unhealthy for a while, but then you pay for it,” Paulina told Elle. She works out “at least three times a week- sometimes less, sometimes more,” she revealed on Instagram. “I found out if I worked out every day my anxiety was kept a lot at bay. And I felt better. So how great is that?” she told Elle.

Paulina has another form of cardio she enjoys. “I still dance. I’ve done boxing. I’ve done rowing. You name it, I’ve done it. Except for running. I don’t like running. It doesn’t feel good to me. It feels bad on my knees,” she told Elle. “I’d rather do Zumba. And Bollywood dancing is a great way to get the aerobic part done. I do some really hard rowing classes. It’s become something that’s like brushing my teeth. It’s something I have to do.”

In a recent Instagram post Paulina revealed that she is a fan of the Nofar Method, a New York City based pilates workout studio. According to research, Pilates exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility, and to improve posture and balance. Experts maintain that it is a great workout for leaning out.
