The Fantasy hitmaker styled her hair in voluminous waves in a center-parting and wore smoky eyeshadow and glossy red lipstick.
Pale green disco lights flashed in the background and candles were arranged on a white shelf behind her.
The music icon captioned the shot with a simple silver glitter ball emoji.
Mariah also shared a selfie in the same outfit, pouting at the camera with her hands in her hair.
“Feeling the love,” she wrote alongside it with a red heart emoji.
Her fans predicted that her caption might be “teasing” a new song or album.

Her followers made sure to use the term “anniversary” rather than “birthday.”
In an interview several years ago, the pop star said, “I don’t have birthdays. No, well, I just have anniversaries. I decided to do that.
“And I’ve noticed that people who decide not to have birthdays, they just don’t have them.”
The We Belong Together hitmaker rang in her big day with her friends and family on a superyacht in a tropical destination.
