Kyrie Irving and Nike are no longer working together.
Last month, the sportswear company put their relationship with the 30-year-old NBA star on pause after he promoted an antisemitic movie and book.
They have since decided to make that decision a permanent one.
“Kyrie Irving is no longer a Nike athlete,” the company said in a statement shared with HuffPost.

Kyrie‘s agent Shetellia Riley Irving, told The New York Times that the decision was mutual.
“We mutually decided to part ways and we just wish Nike all the best,” they said.
The partnership can be traced back to 2014 and was initially supposed to run into late 2023.
He was also suspended from his current team the Brooklyn Nets, though his suspension has since ended after he issued an apology.
Kyrie‘s former teammate Lebron James issued a statement about the athlete’s actions.
He is not the only star to lose deals thanks to antisemitic behavior recently.
