alt-J announced they will set out on a tour in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their Mercury Prize-winning debut album, An Awesome Wave. To properly recognize the milestone, the band will perform the album in its entirety in the United States for the first time.
“It’s been such a great year promoting both The Dream and An Awesome Wave’s 10th anniversary that we have decided to extend the party into 2023. We are delighted to announce a run of AAW anniversary shows in the US in March, where we will play the album in full for the first time in America. We hope you can join us,” the band wrote.
The tour will take place over just four evenings: At the King’s Theatre in Brooklyn, N.Y., on March 13, followed by a two-night stand at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on March 20 and 21 and a final show at the Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif. on March 23.
Presale beings on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. local time and will conclude the following day, while general on-sale will commence on Friday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. local time. Learn more and sign up for early access tickets here.
