Gisele Bündchen is letting the world know that she has nothing but support for her man Tom Brady, amid rumors that his decision to un-retire is tearing their marriage apart.
For the past weeks, news has surfaced that the model is not happy with Brady for returning to the sport, and this has caused a major strain in their union — even causing her to leave their home.
However, Bündchen, in a recent shocking Tweet, showed that she was onboard with her husband’s 23rd season in the NFL.
Gisele Bündchen Cheers On Tom Brady, But Not In Person
On Sunday, before Brady’s game — his first regular season game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — the Brazilian native took to Twitter to cheer him on. Bündchen kept her message brief and to the point, writing, “Let’s go @TomBrady! Let’s go Bucs! ✨✨✨.”
For his first game of his 23rd NFL season, Brady led the Buccaneers in victory against the Dallas Cowboys, throwing the only touchdown. The Buccaneers beat the Cowboys 19-3, and the seven-time Super Bowl champion made history as the first 45-year-old starting quarterback in NFL history.
However, as Brady played it out on the field, Bündchen, who is often a staple at his games, was nowhere in sight in the stands. She didn’t attend the game, but that didn’t come as a surprise to many as there were rumors she wouldn’t attend.
As we previously reported, a source close to the Buccaneers revealed last week that there were no preparations in place to receive Bündchen‘s presence. The anonymous source disclosed, “it’s always a big thing when Gisele is coming to watch the game, but as of right now, there’s none of that for Sunday’s game.”
The insider explained that the team usually prepares extra security and extra snacks for Bündchen and the kids’ arrival, but none of that was arranged for Sunday’s game. The source noted that things were “very different,” and it was “weird” that Brady’s first game of the season would be without his wife of 13 years.
The Buccaneers source also mentioned that the team was well aware of the tumultuous state of Brady and Bündchen’s marriage. “Everyone here knows that there’s tension, but we don’t know how serious it is. So we’re just not talking to him about Gisele. It’s not a topic anyone wants to bring up to him.”
Brady Was Absent From Practice Due To ‘Personal’ Reasons
On the pitch, the 45-year-old looked as sharp as ever despite missing 11 days of pre-season practice last month. As The Blast reported, after his only pre-season game, Brady, in a press conference, addressed his absence and, in the process, might have hinted at drama behind the scenes.
“It’s all personal, you know. Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on, so you just have to try and figure out life the best you can. You know, it’s a continuous process,” the renowned athlete told reporters.
Unfortunately, a few days after the press conference, news surfaced that the couple got into a huge fight and the “Taxi” star left the couple’s Tampa Bay home for Costa Rica. A source confirmed to Page Six that the lovebirds had heated arguments about his decision to come out of his short-lived retirement, violating an initial agreement they had.

“There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids. They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind,” the insider claimed.
The “Devil Wears Prada” actress has since returned to the United States after her short trip away, but that hasn’t signaled a possible reconciliation for the estranged pair. Per reports, Bündchen flew into Florida but rather than returning to their Tampa home, opted to stay away in Miami.
Nevertheless, amid their fight, Brady and Bündchen have remained a steadfast presence for their kids. The model was seen with their two kids Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 9, at the Tidal Cove Water Park in Aventura, north of Miami. The quarterback, on the other hand, was said to be working hard to be a “super dad” to his three children.
