Armani White, who recently signed a deal with Def Jam after blowing up this year on the strength of his viral hit “Billie Eilish,” returns with a new single and video “Diamond Dallas.”
The new track follows the success of the Neptunes-sampling “Billie Eilish,” which catapulted the Philly rapper into the mainstream this summer, reaching No. 1 on SoundCloud en route to earning over 30 million streams globally.
“‘Billie Eilish’ helped me finish my 2022 wish list in a month,” Armani said in a statement. “The sky opened up, and things I couldn’t have imagined fell in front of me.”
Back in July, Armani inked a deal with Def Jam Recordings. According to Chairman & CEO Tunji Balogun, Arman’s upcoming EP will capture the same energy as “Billie Eilish.”
“Armani is a dynamic artist who’s been bubbling underground for a while now and has caught lightning in a bottle with ‘Billie Eilish,’” Tunji Balogun said. “As infectious and urgent as ‘Billie’ is, Armani’s upcoming EP displays an energetic, three-dimensional artist with a unique perspective and an exciting approach to the game. We’re all excited to help him develop, connect with a wider audience, and become the star he’s shown he can be.”
