What Is Beyoncé’s “COWBOY CARTER” Tour?

The 2025 “COWBOY CARTER” tour serves as Beyoncé’s seventh solo headlining tour and arrives in support of her expansive 2024 album, COWBOY CARTER.

The outing began on April 28th with the first of a five-night run at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium (going until May 9th). She’ll then continue with three shows in Chicago and five shows in East Rutherford, New Jersey throughout the month of May before heading across the pond for six London shows beginning on June 5th. After three dates in Paris in late June, Bey will make her way back stateside for two shows in Houston followed by two performances in Washington D.C. on July 4th and 7th. The tour will conclude with three concerts in Atlanta on July 10th, 11th, and 13th, before heading to Las Vegas for pair of final show at Allegiant Stadium on July 25th and 26th.

Though the album was released back in March 2024, Bey held off on live shows until her hometown NFL Halftime Performance at the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Christmas Day. There, she debuted several tracks from COWBOY CARTER for the first time and teased an announcement for January 14th. However, the 2025 wildfires in Los Angeles forced her to postpone the announcement to Saturday, February 1st, when she then confirmed the tour.

She provided details and tour dates for the “COWBOY CARTER” run just hours after winning her first-ever Album of the Year award at the 2025 Grammys; Bey also won Country Album of the Year for COWBOY CARTER, making her the first Black artist to ever win in the category.

Here at Consequence, we were also big fans of COWBOY CARTER, naming it one of the best albums of 2024.

What Is the Setlist for Beyoncé’s “COWBOY CARTER” Tour?

Beyoncé kicked off the “COWBOY CARTER” tour in Los Angeles with a massive 41-song, 7-act setlist that primarily showcased material from COWBOY CARTER. She began the show with “AMERIICAN REQUIEM,” followed The Beatles’ “Blackbird” and a version of “The Star-Spangled Banner” set over Jimi Hendrix’s famous guitar performance of the song.

From there, the setlist included “YA YA,” “SPAGHETTII,” “BODYGUARD,” “II MOST WANTED,” “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” her version of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” and many more. Songs not from COWBOY CARTER included “Formation,” “Crazy In Love,” “Diva,” and others.

Additionally, the show features dazzling production and visuals — at one point Beyoncé soars above the audience aboard a car and a horseshoe, at another she is served a drink by a robot arm, and more.

Who Is Opening for Beyoncé on Her “COWBOY CARTER” Tour?

Beyoncé had no opening act for the “COWBOY CARTER” tour launch on April 28th in Los Angeles. That will likely be the case for the remainder of the tour.
