IShowSpeed challenged to $100k race as Tyreek Hill clears up “dodging” claims

NFL star Tyreek Hill has challenged IShowSpeed to a race and addressed claims that he has been “dodging” the YouTube streamer.

On top of his barking and being obsessed with everything to do with Cristiano Ronaldo, IShowSpeed’s other signature thing has been his running.

The YouTube star is so confident in his pace that he has challenged himself against a few different people. That included Olympic champion Noah Lyles. However, Speed was pipped to the line by the 100m gold medalist.

He has also had a few different athletes in his crosshairs. Speed has gone after a few different football players – both the European and American versions – including Miami Dolphins star wideout Tyreek Hill.

Tyreek Hill challenges IShowSpeed again

Hill, who has lit up many a defense in the NFL with his blazing speed, was open to racing the streamer. Though, he wanted $100,000 on the line. Speed was receptive to that offer, but it never happened.

The Dolphins wide receiver was asked about it again by The Athletic and addressed why they haven’t raced yet.

“When you’re comparing influencer speed to world-class speed, it’s not even close bro,” he said. “I’m not dodging him in races, I’m just trying to wait for the perfect time. I’m challenging you now, IShowSpeed, to a race.”

Speed has shown a willingness to take on challengers at short notice. His race with Lyles was put together within a few hours by MrBeast – it wasn’t like he had the date circled on his calendars for weeks.

Hill wouldn’t be in tip-top shape given that the NFL season is over and training camps don’t start until the summer.

It would, no doubt, be an interesting thing to watch, especially given how Speed did against Lyles. However, we’ll just have to wait and see if they can actually make it happen.
