Actor and model Kyle “Kiki” Fragnoli chatted about his new film “Double Life of My Military Man” and his latest ventures.
In her Grammy-winning country song, “I Hope You Dance,” Lee Ann Womack sings, “Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens.” This quote applies to actor and model Kyle Fragnoli, who is turning 30 next month.
‘Double Life of My Military Man’
In “Double Life of My Military Man,” Fragnoli stars opposite Rebecca Stoughton. “Rebecca is a former Division I athlete. We have that in common,” he admitted. “Rebecca is sweet and so talented.”
The synopsis is: When a small-town doctor unexpectedly crosses paths with Dawson (Kyle Fragnoli), a handsome, mysterious soldier, sparks fly. But as their relationship blooms, both are forced to keep the real reasons for their whirlwind romance and the truth behind their identities a secret.
Dawson is a Special Forces ace and secret billionaire. She’s a special ops agent undercover. Both operatives have a single mission–to investigate and ultimately eliminate one another. Will they risk sacrificing everything for loyalty or love?
“I’ve gotten very lucky,” he noted. “Reel Short has been awesome. They have approached me on a couple of different projects. They have great production value. It is not slowing down; it is picking up.”
“I would love to keep on working with Reel Short. They are a fantastic company, and they treat the actors well and they give us all the love. They have been a real treat; I’ve been blessed. I just love it,” he elaborated.
“That was a great experience. It was fun with a little bit more serious subject matter. Working with Rebecca was fantastic. She is so damn good,” he added.
Fragnoli on Eric Guilmette
Fragnoli had great words about actor, model and friend Eric Guilmette.
On Eric Guilmette, Frangoli remarked, “When you are working with the best, all you can hope to do is rise to the occasion. Plus, when you are working with your best friend, it’s great.”
“This past winter, we made a turkey together for our Friendsgiving celebration, and everyone loved it; they ate the whole thing. Not only was the turkey stuffed, but it was also completely devoured. It was golden brown, and we did a great job,” Fragnoli shared.
“I am thrilled for Eric’s growth this past year, and how far along he has come. Eric has been such a great friend to me,” Fragnoli added.
Kyle Fragnoli — The Lacrosse coach
As a lacrosse coach, Fragnoli is proud of his students because they “keep persevering.”
“A lot of the students had to deal with the Palisades fires,” he said. “A lot of them live in that area, or the area bordering it. So, it was very emotionally tough for my team.”
Stage of his life
On the title of the current chapter of his life, Fragnoli said “Redefined.”
Superpower of choice
If he were to have any superpower, he said with a sweet laugh, “Anyone within a 20-foot radius would lose their superpower. I’m everyone’s Kryptonite.”
Best thing about being his age
On the best thing about being his age, he said, “I’m turning 30 on March 8th, which coincides with International Women’s Day.”
“The best thing about my age is that although one chapter is closing, there is still another one and many more to be had,” he acknowledged.
Favorite sports to watch and to play
His favorite sport to watch is “football,” where is a fan of the Minnesota Vikings, and his favorite sport to play is lacrosse.
“Tune into Santa Monica High School to watch me coach the Boys J.V. team to victory,” he said.
His favorite motto to live by
On his favorite motto to live by, Fragnoli revealed, “The coolest cat stays the coolest.”
“The coolest guy in the room stays the coolest,” he clarified.
Fragnoli aspires to someday become a Los Angeles Firefighter
His dream is to someday become a firefighter for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
“That has been my dream for such a long time,” he admitted. “All I want to do is help people because that helps myself in the long run.”
Success
Regarding his definition of the word success, Fragnoli said, “Success, for me, now is not finishing the job; it’s starting it. Success is embarking on a relentless journey.”
