Beyoncé officially announces her Cowboy Carter Tour following the release of her eponymous country-laden album.

Beyoncé is finally embarking on her Cowboy Carter Tour, officially making the announcement on Sunday, February 2. The announcement comes after her Christmas Day Halftime performance during the NFL game in her native Houston. That event marked the first time the “16 Carriages” singer performed her new country-themed jams live since its released in March last year.

In a video posted to Beyoncé’s Instagram, a sign is seen hanging over a desert floor in the night sky, with lights adorning the words ‘COWBOY CARTER TOUR’ in bright block letters. The superstar followed up the video with a second post featuring a close-up of her face with bleached-blonde braids and a bold red lip.

The tour announcement was initially expected to drop on January 14 following a teaser the star shared following her NFL performance on Christmas Day. Following the event, Beyoncé released a promo implying a tour announcement was forthcoming, with a 15-second video that cut to black featuring the date 1-14-25.

But the wildfires devastating the Los Angeles area since January 7 led to her postponing the announcement. Beyoncé also donated $2.5 million to Los Angeles area relief funds through her BeyGood Foundation.

“I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to protect the Los Angeles community.”

During her Christmas Day Halftime performance, Beyoncé performed a medley of tracks from Cowboy Carter, including “Texas Hold ‘Em,” “16 Carriages,” “Sweet Honey Buckiin’” with Shaboozey, “Levii’s Jeans” with Post Malone, and renditions of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” and the Beatles’ “Blackbird.” Blue Ivy, the superstar’s eldest daughter with husband Jay-Z, was also a part of the show’s finale.

Beyoncé is looking at 11 nods at the 2025 Grammy Awards — the most of any artist this year. Her nominations include Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Solo Performance. She is the artist with the most Grammy wins of all time, with 32. Notably, she has yet to win the highly coveted Album of the Year award.
