NFL fans have been inundated with coverage of Taylor Swift showing up at Kansas City Chiefs games ever since she started dating future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce in 2023, and this Sunday’s AFC Championship will certainly be no different. This time, however, Swift might finally have some competition, and that’s fellow pop star and Academy Award-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld.

Back in the fall, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld got engaged, making the pair one of the most high-profile couples in all of American sports. Unlike Swift — who recently wrapped up The Eras Tour, which became the highest-grossing tour of all time with over $2 billion in revenue — however, Steinfeld seems to keep a low profile when she’s in the building to support her beau.

This weekend, however, NFL fans seem to be rooting for Steinfeld to roll into Arrowhead Stadium with the rest of the Buffalo Bills and show Taylor Swift up, as most football fanatics are not only largely sick of Swift, but also seem to like Steinfeld a bit better.

“When the Chiefs are playing I constantly have to see Taylor Swift but I can’t get Hailee Steinfeld on my screen tonight?” one football fan tweeted during the Divisional Round.

“They show Taylor Swift a hundred times a game but CBS Sports can’t give us one shot of Hailee Steinfeld?” added another.

“If the Super Bowl has to be ‘star player and his woman’ focused like it’s a reality show, I can’t say this strongly enough: Josh Allen + Hailee Steinfeld > Travis Kelcie + Taylor Swift, by a country mile,” said a third.

The AFC Championship between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills will kick off from Arrowhead Stadium at 6:30 p.m. EST on Sunday, January 26. The Chiefs head into the highly-anticipated matchup — which is also their 7th straight appearance in the AFC title game — as narrow 1.5 favorites over the Bills.
