Marvel Studios has released the first trailer Daredevil: Born Again, its rebooted version of the acclaimed Daredevil series that aired on Netflix from 2015 to 2018. The series sees previous leads Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio returning as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, respectively.
Ahead of its premiere on Disney+ on March 4, Marvel Studios dropped the first full length trailer for Daredevil: Born Again, which promises to keep the same gritty tone and violent action of the original series.
In addition to Cox and D’Onofrio, key Daredevil stars such as Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher will also be returning in the upcoming reboot.
Check out the official trailer for Daredevil: Born Again below. At this time, Marvel Studios has yet to provide an official synopsis for the highly-anticipated series.
The series isn’t the MCU debut of either Daredevil or Kingpin, however, with Cox’s Matt Murdock previously appearing in She-Hulk, Echo, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, and D’Onofrio’s Kingpin featuring heavily in Hawkeye. This will be the first time that the characters have interacted since the conclusion of Netflix’s Daredevil, however.
In addition to the aforementioned trio of Cox, D’Onofrio and Bernthal, Daredevi: Born Again will star Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, Wilson Bethel, and Jeremy Earl.
Daredevil: Born Again is one of many MCU shows scheduled to release in 2025 alongside Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Ironheart, Eyes of Wakanda, Marvel Zombies, and Wonder Man. This year will also see the release of three MCU films: Captain America: Brave New World in February, Thunderbolts in May, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps in July.
