Team sports instill camaraderie among players and a shared respect that increases during each practice and after each game—win or lose. Everyone plays a key part in the overall success of the team, which is a great way to help players build a sense of belonging and purpose. Teammates encourage one another to succeed and to reach their goals because they know it’s the best way to create a winning team. These relationships can extend beyond the game and create lasting friendships and support.”
Even if she doesn’t get the result she wants, she’s still proud of what she’s achieved with her teammates. “Wow I don’t even know where to begin, when I decided to play for Osasco I had no idea how much of an impact it would have on me. This club showed me so much love, not only on the court, but off the court as well. I feel so blessed to have met such amazing people on this team and staff,” she said on Instagram. “While I am extremely devastated we didn’t get the result we wanted, I can still say that I’m so so proud of this team, and everything we have accomplished this season together. Thank you to all the friends I’ve made here, the amazing staff, and to all my fans here in Brazil I love you guys so much 😭 and thank you for being so supportive to me and my team this season.”
She spends time being thankful and reflecting on everything she’s experienced. “Wow, these past 7 months have been filled with so much joy, pain, growth and happiness. So incredibly thankful for all the memories and new friendships I have created during my time in Italy!!
