Delta and Shake Shack announce a new partnership to bring delicious burgers to the skies starting in December.

As the Christmas trees come out of storage and the grocery stores see increased traffic we can confidently say the holiday season is upon us. The most stressful part of the holiday season is traveling and travel arrangements. Enormous family gatherings are fun but the logistics can cause headaches.

Delta is always looking to improve the experience for travelers aboard their vessels.

According to Delta’s latest press release, the company will bring a savory addition to its in-flight menus. Shake Shack is partnering with Delta to bring their world-famous burgers to the skies.

“A delicious cheeseburger is an iconic comfort food – our customers know that which is why burgers are one of the top ordered menu items we offer, and we’re thrilled to elevate the offering with Shake Shack,” said Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Service. “However, our partnership with Shake Shack goes beyond the burger. Shake Shack’s people-first culture and commitment to enriching their neighborhoods are spot on with our own brand values of service excellence and helping the communities we serve.”

Shake Shack’s tasty Cheeseburger will be offered to eligible first-class travelers via pre-select on flights starting December 1. Boston will be the first city in the partnership with expansion to other cities coming in 2025. This move is the latest in Delta’s dedication to refreshing its in-cabin options.

Delta has also added a unique seasonal wine program with new snack and meal selections curated by award-winning chefs.
