Who is Kehlani dating now?
Kehlani was first linked to UCONN Women’s basketball graduate assistant Kiara Russell on December 24, 2022.
The two seemingly went public in December with a TikTok where the pair detailed how they met.
Kehlani can be seen in the video saying how they met at Whole Foods shopping for kiwi, “and the next thing you know, love.”
The singer then jokingly added: “Actually, the stud stork brought her, so she was just dropped off on my porch.”

In 2021, Kehlani made headlines after they came out as gay in a TikTok video.
“I’m just gonna f***ing say it because everyone keeps bringing it up to me,” they said in the video, via Elite Daily.
“They’re like, ‘Kehlani, what’s new?’ I’m like, ‘I finally know I’m a lesbian.’ Well, it’s f***ing true. I am gay, gay, gay, gay, gay.”
Later that year, Kehlani also opened up about pronouns, revealing that they prefer she/they pronouns, per Billboard.
“I don’t mind when people say ‘she’ at all, but something feels really affirming when people say ‘they,’” Kehlani said at the time.
In the past, Kehlani previously described themselves as queer and pansexual.
“I think I was always just, like, you have to be gay or you have to be straight — that those were conflicting,” they told The Fader in 2015.
“I learned that there’s really no wrong or right, that it was cool to like everything.”

In May 2022, Kehlani started promoting their new music video ahead of their 2022 tour which sparked rumors of a then-romance with a costar.
Kehlani posted pictures alongside American rapper and singer Danielle Balbuena, who is known by the stage name 070 Shake, with the caption “iLoveyou🫀.” 070 Shake was featured alongside Kehlani in their music video for the song “melt.”
Shortly after the video was released, they posted a snippet on Instagram of the two kissing with the caption, “a true story” insinuating that they are an item.
Yahoo! reported on December 27, 2022, that Kehlani broke it off with 070 Shake months before going public with Russell.
