ADELE has had an agonising ear infection for the last two months which has left her temporarily deaf in one ear.
The Brit has experienced pain “worse than childbirth” since picking up a rare bug during a ten-day residency in Munich in August.
Mum-of-one Adele, 36, disclosed her ongoing problem on stage in Las Vegas on Friday.
She said: “I have an ear infection, which is pretty grim.
“I’ve never had one before.
“It’s the most painful thing that’s ever, ever happened to me.
“It was worse than childbirth.
“It’s a rare water bacteria.
“It’s very hard to treat.
“I was on the wrong antibiotics for a few days and they managed to give me one that started to work.
“I wanted to chop my ear off a few times.
“I’m no longer in pain, which is great but I’m a bit deaf in my left ear.”
LA-based Adele, who is singing for ten nights at Caesars Palace, also told fans she would keep secret the date on which she and sports agent fiancé Rich Paul, 43, plan to wed.
The Hello hitmaker said: “I’m the queen of flying under the radar.”
She added she had no plans, for now, to release any more music.
