Alexia Putellas Shows Off Her Fit Figure and Nails Her Shot on Instagram

On Instagram, @sefutbolfem posted (translated), “he threatened us with his gaze…AND HE MADE THE FOUL. 🙈 Whatever you want, @alexiaputellas #PlayFightAndWin,” on a video of Alexia nailing her shot after giving a confident look into the camera. The pro footballer is a prime example of confidence, dedication, and drive, leading to her having a lot of people looking to her for health and wellness advice. What does she do to stay fit and keep her head in the game? We did some digging to find out what leads to her mental and physical strength.

She loves sports in general, even if it wasn’t always football. According to Olympics.com, “despite being born into a family of culers (Barcelona FC fans), football wasn’t always Putellas’ choice of sport. Growing up, she followed in the footsteps of family members and began playing basketball – another popular sport in the Catalan region. Alongside basketball, Putellas also played tennis and hockey.”

She values special moments throughout her career. According to Olympics.com, “when asked about the most special game of her career in a SPORT interview, it’s this game that she reflects on.” She responded by saying, “the game at San Mamés in my first year, my first league. We won in front of 25,000 people, which back then 10 years ago didn’t usually happen.”

She started achieving her goals at a young age. According to Olympics.com, “the 29 year old’s first ever football club was Sabadell – the only youth team in the Barcelona area with a specific women and girls section at the time. When Putellas was seven, she managed to join the club with help from a family friend – despite Sabadell officially only accepting girls from the age of eight. It wasn’t long before she was made one of the club’s captains, despite being a lot younger than the majority of her teammates.”

She posted on Instagram with her sunscreen, (translated to english) “discipline is everything in sport… and also when it comes to protecting your skin. That’s why I rely on Anthelios UVMUNE 400 for total protection. Happy to be the new ambassador of @larocheposay.” According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, “wearing sunscreen is one of the best — and easiest — ways to protect your skin’s appearance and health at any age. Used regularly, sunscreen helps prevent sunburn, skin cancer and premature aging.”

She’s worked hard toward her accomplishments and goals. According to Olympics.com, “in 2021, she became the third ever footballer – and first female player – to receive the prestigious Creu de Sant Jordi, an award to honour services to Catalonia. The two previous footballing recipients were Lionel Messi and Johan Cruyff.”
