TikTok star’s who have sported the broccolli haircut

TikToker and boxer Bryce Hall is among the celebrities who have popularised the style.

Noah Beck has also played a key role in promoting the look to his followers.

Recently, David Corenswet, who is set to become the new Superman, has been sporting the hairstyle during his role as Clark Kent.

Portland-based media studies professor Matthew Ellis told GQ: “This is the first time I’ve ever seen Gen-Z fashion not in an explicitly Gen-Z character, but in an iconic pop culture figure.”

“When I saw even Superman has the haircut, I was like, ‘Alright, something has happened. We’ve crossed a threshold.'”

Other stars wearing the look include TikToker Trevor Brouhns, social media personality Josh Richards, and Mason Disick, son of Kourtney Kardashian.

Young men have reportedly been spending hundreds on professional perms to achieve the look of these social media influencers.

The haircut has received backlash

Comedian Bryan Torresdey created a TikTok video poking fun at the hairstyle, which has received over 65,000 likes.

Bryan told GQ: “It’s such a specific person who rocks it: the guy who’s chugging a Celsius while taking multiple selfies in the gym mirror.”

The style is commonly linked with young teenage boys and goes by several other names, including bird’s nest hair, Zoomer perm, and alpaca teen gym bro hair.
